Fees

What is and is not included

  • The conference fee includes accommodation, conference registration and materials, and all coffee breaks and meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) from dinner on Monday evening to lunch on Friday.
  • The fee for day guests (Commute rate) does not include accommodation nor
  • Flights and transportation are not included in any of the conference fees.
  • The optional Shuttle transport to and from the conference hotel, approximate $15 one-way from/to airport or city is not included in any of the conference fees.
  • The optional outing to see cultural performance dances in Nairobi city on Wednesday afternoon (transport & entrance ± 20USD, is not included in any of the conference fees.

    Cancellation & Refund Policy

    • All cancellations can be done online through your registration ID. The link can be found in the confirmation Email sent by you after your registration.
    • Refund for paid fees require written notification to GMCN at harry@globalmembercare.com, as refund transfer options need to be processed manually.
    • Cancellations received
      • up to May 10, 2024 receive a full refund for paid fees, excluding non-refundable administration fee of 75 USD, and excluding international transfer fees.
      • after May 10, 2024 up to August 10, 2024 will receive a 50% refund for paid fees excluding international transfer fees.
      • after August 10, 2024 will receive a no refund for paid fees.
    • Refunds are likewise not available if someone doesn’t appear at the conference and does not transfer their registration to another person.

    Substitution Policy

    • Registered delegates may transfer their registration to another person. There is no charge if the delegate takes full responsibility for changing the name and details.

    Booking and Payment

    • All reservations must be made through our online booking system  https://doo.net/event/152977/order
    • After selecting the ticket(s) and entering the personal details, you will be forwarded to the payment method selection page. You can choose for ‘Bank transfer’ or ‘PayPal / credit card / direct debit’ (this payment process takes place in a separate window). When selecting PayPal and you do not have a PayPal account, you can enter your email address and continue to pay as a guest, using a debit or credit card. If you want to use a company or ministry card, make sure you have added the card holder’s name and company address in the invoice details.

    Covid policy

    • The conference will be run in accordance with guidelines issued by the Government of If the Government mandates any restrictions which involve, but are not limited to, wearing facemasks, admitting only people who have proof of a negative Covid test, or requiring specific daily test, these will be compulsory for all conference participants and failure to comply will result in refusal of admission to the conference. Under such circumstances, conference fees will not be refunded.

    Force Majeure

    ·       In the event that GMCN should find it necessary to cancel or postpone the 2024 Global Member Care Conference for any reason, including but not limited to low registration, strikes, acts of nature, civil unrest, war, terrorist acts or other circumstances beyond GMCN’s control, then GMCN’s liability shall be limited to refund of paid fees, less unrecoverable costs.
